Meeting to deepen tourism ties between Australia-Goa held

Australia's High Commissioner to India, Harinder Sidhu held discussions with Goa Tourism Minister Dilip Parulekar to boost tourism ties between the two destinations.
"The meeting was held earlier this week where Sidhu shared her pleasant experiences while visiting Goa and discussed issues on how footfalls from Down Under to Goa could be enhanced," a press note from Tourism Department today said.
The Consul General of AustraliaTony Huber and Managing Director ofGoa Tourism DevelopmentCorporation Nikhil Desai were also present at the meeting.
Parulekar and Sidhu discussed various aspects of enhancing tourism ties between Australia and Goa.
Sidhu also complimented Goa Tourism for working on a Tourism Master Plan and Policy which would help Goa become an attractive tourism destination.
