"Men In Black 4" producers are giving serious thoughts to include a female agent in the film.
Laurie MacDonald, who is producing the film with husband Walter Parkes, said they are keen on including a 'women in black' to play a significant role, reported Variety.
"There will be a prominent Woman in Black in the fourth (film)," MacDonald said.
The first film in the franchise that released in 1997 seemingly included Linda Fiorentino's character into the agency at the end of the film.
However she was seen nowhere in the next two films.
"Men in Black II" had Lara Flynn Boyle playing villainous Serleena, but the "MIB" has yet to have a female agent take a lead role.
Star of the franchise Will Smith is still not attached with the fourth film, but Parkes says that the actor could be lured back.
"Never count Will out...We are quite early on in it. We sort of looked at the first three in retrospect as a bit of a trilogy," Parkes said.
The last installment in the franchise, "Men in Black 3," was released in 2012 and earned USD 624 million worldwide.
