Mentally challenged girl dies of burn

A 15-year-old mentally-challenged girl today succumbed to her burn injuries that she received on Sunday, police said.
The incident took place under the Masuri police station on Sunday night when the victim, Danishta, was preparing dinner after a marriage function in her house, SHO S P Singh said.
After some time, she was rushed to a hospital where she succumbed to her injuries, police said, adding the matter is under investigation.
Meanwhile, in a separate incident, one person has been arrested for allegedly raping a minor girl three days ago, police said.
The accused, identified as Pramod, had been on the run after the incident, they said.
