A 25-year-old "mentally disturbed" man who allegedly attempted to jump from the elevated PVNR Expressway here was rescued Thursday, police said.

The video of the incident has gone viral.

In a video shot from a mobile phone, the man is seen sitting on the railing of the elevated expressway even as two men rescue him.

The man was later taken away and handed over to police.

"This man is mentally disturbed and ran away from Bihar. We are trying to reach his parents and send him there," a police official said, adding it was not clear if he attempted suicide from the expressways railing.
