At the Multi Commodity Exchange, mentha oil for delivery in August moved up by Rs 7.30, or 0.82 per cent to Rs 894.80 per kg in business turnover of 195 lots.
Likewise, the oil for delivery in July contracts traded higher by Rs 7.10, or 0.81 per cent to Rs 884.50 per kg in 487 lots.
Analysts said rising demand from consuming industries in the spot markets against tight stocks position on restricted supplies from Chandausi in Uttar Pradesh mainly influenced mentha oil prices at futures trade.
