Menthol weakens on low demand
Menthol prices went down by Rs 5 per kg at the chemical market today owing to slackened demand from consuming industries.
Traders said, tepid demand from consuming industries against sufficient stocks position, mainly weighed on the menthol prices.
In the national capital, menthol bold crystal, flake and oil were trading down by Rs 5 each to Rs 1,730, Rs 1,590 and Rs 1,420 per kg, respectively.
