Mercury plummeted by three to four degree Celsius at many places in north west parts due to rains and hailstorms that hit the state last week, a MeT official said.
Mount Abu again recorded a minimum temperature of 3 degree Celsius compared to five degree below normal last night.
Fog and mist also appeared during morning hours at many places in Jaipur, Kota, Churu, Ganganagar, Pilani, Sirohi and Jalore districts, he said.
According to the forecast, Mercury may dip further and cold and windy weather will prevail in the state for next 14 hours.
