Mercury remains above normal in Delhi

There was no reprieve from the prevailing hot and humid weather as the temperature continued to remain above normal in Delhi, with a high humidity bringing discomfort to people.
Both maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded two notches above normal at 39.6 and 29.8 degrees Celsius respectively.
The maximum humidity was recorded 74 per cent, while the minimum settled at 37 per cent.
The weather office has predicted partly cloudy sky for tomorrow, with possibility of light rain and thundershowers in some areas.
