The maximum temperature was recorded at 39.7 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of the year while the minimum was registered at 26.2 degrees Celsius, two notches below normal, a MeT Department official said.
Humidity on the higher side was recorded 80 per cent while on the lower side it hovered at 38 per cent.
The weatherman has predicted overcast conditions for tomorrow.
"The skies will be partly cloudy. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover at 40 degrees Celsius and 26 degrees Celsius respectively," the official said.
Showers over the weekend had brought down the mercury which was earlier hovering above the 40-degree Celsius mark.
