The met department also predicted this cold wave condition in interior Odisha is likely to continue till January 31.
Phulbani, the district headquarters of Kandhamal, today recorded 4 degrees Celsius as minimum temperature and continued to remain as the coldest place in the state for last fortnight.
The highest maximum temperature of 31.8 degree Celsius was recorded at Malkangiri, the met office said in its bulletin.
While Phulbani, Sundergarh (9) and Jharsuguda (9.5) recorded minimum temperature below 10 degrees Celsius, six other places recorded temperature between 10 degrees Celsius to 11 degrees Celsius.
