Metro services in the city were partially hit Friday evening for around an hour following the detection of a crack on rail tracks at Chandni Chowk station, a senior official said.

Around 5.30pm, the crack was noticed by the Metro staff, following which the trains were allowed to run only between Dum Dum and Central Metro stations on one line and Maidan and Kavi Nazrul stations on the other, he said.

Normal services resumed from 6.17 pm after the issue was addressed, he added.
