Mexico is reevaluating its cooperation with the United States because of "very public and blatant differences" with President Donald Trump's administration, the foreign minister said today after a week of rising tension.
Speaking after Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto announced a sweeping review of bilateral cooperation -- including in vital areas such as security -- Foreign Minister Luis Videgaray said the move was a response to recent tensions over Trump's decision to order National Guard troops to the border and his Twitter outbursts over a caravan of US-bound migrants.
