The "X-Men: Days of Future Past" actor is in talks to reunite with See-Saw Films' Emile Sherman and Stuart Canning on a new production, which is expected to be a co-production between New Zealand and Britain, reported Deadline.
Not much is known about the plot for "Slow West", but the New Zealand Film Commission is thought to be investing in the movie, along with Britain's DMC Film.
The flick will be directed by John Maclean, who is a former member of Scottish rockers, The Beta Band.
Fassbender has two new films set for release in the coming months, the Oscar-tipped "12 Years a Slave" and "The Counsellor".
