A day after the national capital received moderate rainfall, a partly cloudy sky ensured that temperatures stayed within comfortable levels although humidity was on the higher side.
According to the MeT department, the maximum temperature was recorded at 34.5 degrees Celsius, which was one notch above normal, while the minimum settled at 26 degrees, which is normal for this time of the year.
Delhi received 6.8mm rainfall till 8:30 A.M. Trace rainfall was received in the city thereafter till 5:30 P.M.
Following the showers yesterday, humidity levels shot up, fluctuating between 62 and 87 per cent during the day.
Despite the rain, the maximum yesterday had settled three notches above normal at 37.2 degrees while the minimum was recorded at 28.4 degrees.
The weatherman has predicted generally cloudy skies tomorrow. Light rain or thundershowers would occur in some parts of the city. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to settle at around 35 and 26 degrees, respectively.
