Min temperature remains below normal in Haryana

The minimum temperatures remained below normal levels in Haryana and above normal limits in Punjab today, with Amritsar settling at a low of 8 degrees Celsius.
The mercury oscillated between 4 degrees Celsius below normal to one notch above normal in most parts of Haryana and Punjab, the MeT office said here.
While Hisar settled at a low of 8.8 degrees Celsius, 4 notches below normal, the minimum temperatures at Karnal was 9.8 degrees Celsius, one notch below normal.
Among other places in the region, Ludhiana had a low of 9.9 degrees Celsius, followed by 11 degrees Celsius at Chandigarh, 11.5 degrees Celsius at Patiala, one notch above normal and 12 degrees Celsius at Ambala, also one notch above normal.
The MeT forecast dry weather with possibility of thundershowers at isolated places in the region during the next 48 hours.
