Minigun factory found, five held

An illegal minigun factory was unearthed in a riverine area of Munger district of Bihar and five persons were arrested in this connection, a police officer said.
Acting on a tip off, a police team raided Binda diara and unearthed the minigun factory, Superintendent of Police Barun Kumar Sinha said.
A large quantity of arms comprising 10 automatic pistols, 20 magazines and equipment used for processing weapons was recovered from the spot, he said.
The cops also arrested five persons identified as Pankaj Rai, Md Meraj, Md Faiyaz, Md Shahid Alam, and Md Pervez Alam, from the illicit minigun factory site, Sinha said.

The arrested persons have been booked under Arms Act, the SP said.
