Narnaul in Haryana recorded a minimum of 5 degrees Celsius, one notch below normal, the MeT Department said.
Among other places, Hisar's minimum was 9.3 degrees Celsius while Karnal registered its low at 9.6 degrees Celsius, up to two notches above normal.
Ambala had a low of 10.1 deg C, three degrees above normal.
UT Chandigarh, the joint capital of Punjab and Haryana, registered minimum at 8.1 degrees Celsius.
In Punjab, the minimum temperature of Amritsar, Ludhiana and Patiala was 5 degrees, 11 degrees and 10.6 degrees Celsius, respectively, up to five notches above normal.
Meanwhile, Haryana government today declared 15 days winter holidays in all schools in the state starting from December 25 to January 8, 2017, said an official spokesman.
