Minimum temperatures hover above normal in Pb, Haryana
Press Trust of India Chandigarh In a respite to people from the cold weather conditions, minimum temperatures today rose across Punjab and Haryana.
Chandigarh recorded a low of 13.1 deg C, four notches above normal, a MeT Department official said here.
Ambala registered its minimum at 13.2 degrees Celsius, while Hisar recorded a low of 11.1 degrees Celsius.
Mercury in Karnal settled within the normal limits at 9.6 degrees Celsius.
In Punjab, Amritsar registered its minimum as 12.4 degrees Celsius, while Ludhiana recorded a minimum of 15.6 degrees Celsius, seven notches above normal, it said.
Patiala registered a low of 13.7 degrees Celsius. Bathinda and Faridkot also recorded above normal minimum temperatures at 11.5 and 12 degrees Celsius respectively, the weatherman said.
