Haryana government today said it has plans to divide the mining zones into smaller zones to generate employment opportunities for the unemployed youth.
Smaller mining zones would also provide sand and other such material at cheaper rates, Food and Supplies Minister Karan Dev Kamboj said while addressing people in Chandrav and Garhi Birbal villages in here.
The people had to face difficulties when mining was prohibited in the region, he said, adding that he would take strict action against those found indulging in corrupt practices.
He was touring the area to express gratitude to people for their support during assembly elections.
