The series A round also saw participation by Intel Capital, AME Cloud and Steve Singh, Minio said in a statement.
The funding will be allocated to accelerate product development and growth, it added.
Minio enables developers to store unstructured data on any public or private cloud infrastructure. Its solutions have seen over 10 million downloads since the general availability in January 2017.
"Emerging trends like artificial intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT) and 5G will further accelerate the massive explosion of data taking place today," Minio co- founder and CEO Anand Babu Periasamy said.
