Minister Birender Singh takes oath as member in RS

Steel Minister Chaudhary Birender Singh today took oath as member of the Rajya Sabha.
Singh, who was re-elected to the Upper House recently, took oath in English.
He was welcomed with thumping of desk by members and Chairman Hamid Ansari greeted him, saying "welcome back."
Singh signed the members' register and acknowledged the members' greetings before resuming his place.
