The minister also distributed marriage assistance for 75 beneficiaries, funeral expenses for 17 beneficiaries and education assistance for 672 beneficiaries at a function here, a release said.
Besides beneficiaries of "Uzhavar Padukappu" (farmers security) scheme and medical assistance scheme, nine transgenders also received cheques from the minister.
