The government had sanctioned Rs.162 crore flyover project to ease traffic congestion in Gandhipuram, the heart of the city, and the works were progressing on a warfooting, he said after inspecting the sites.
Accompanied by Municipal Administration Miniser S P Velumani and local officials, he also inspected Rs 20 crore additional double road at Textool and asked the Highway department to expedite it.
