Minor boy charred to death in Samba

A minor boy was burnt alive when his hut caught fire in a remote village of Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said.
The incident occurred last afternoon when five-year-old Zafat Ali and his 10-year-old sister were at home while their parents had gone to a nearby forest.
The house suddenly caught fire at Kote in Samba district yesterday in which the boy, who was sleeping, was charred to death, while the girl managed to escape unhurt.
Locals and police rushed to the spot and recovered the body, they said, adding a case has been registered and investigations are on.
