allegedly strangulated by unidentified person, police said today.
The deceased Mohammed Maksood Sheikh was the resident of Mankhurd in suburban Mumbai today, they said.
He was found bleeding profusely from his nose by his mother when she tried to wake him up in the morning, according to a release by police department.
Police said that Mohammed and his family had gone to attend a wedding on Friday evening. However, he and his two siblings left the function midway and came home early and slept.
"When Mohammed's mother tried to wake him up in the morning, he did not wake up and he was bleeding profusely from his nose. He was immediately rushed to the government hospital where the doctors declared him dead on admission," the release said.
