Police said, the body of Gopal, who did not return from school yesterday, was recovered from a field near Sultanpur village in Brar area, with his throat slit.
"The minor's family members informed the police yesterday, when he did not return from school suspecting he had been kidnapped. His friends told the police that he went along with Raju (the tenant)," Manoj Sonkar, Superintendent of Police (Rural) said.
According to the police, Raju (25) had been involved in a feud with his landlord Sunil Awasthi, the victim's father and to avenge this, he murdered the minor.
The accused has been taken into custody and investigations are on, police said, adding the minor's body has been sent for a postmortem.
Police has also recovered a knife used by the accused to commit the crime.
