Minor clash in Trilokpuri over allegations of theft

An argument between two women neighbours turned ugly and led to minor clashes between two groups in east Delhi's Trilokpuri area today.
Police and Aman Committee members ensured that the situation did not go out of control. Some religious leaders from the area also spoke to people to ease the tension.
Police said the trouble began when two women, who are neighbours, had an argument after the one accused the other of stealing her valuables.
She also alleged that the woman's son molested her, police said.
Following their argument, locals gathered and clashes erupted. Police were informed who managed to bring the situation under control.

The woman and her son were arrested after a case was registered against them, police said. Police are also making efforts to identify those who spread rumours to create tension in the area.
