The accused, identified as Dulla (20), brother of the victim's stepmother, allegedly raped the 12-year-old girl when she was alone, police said.
The victim was admitted to the civil hospital where her medical examination was conducted, they said.
On a complaint lodged by the victim's stepmother, a jhuggi dweller here, a case has been registered against the absconding accused and hunt was on to nab him, police added.
