Police said they along with Tahsildar reached the gilr's house after getting a complaint from the Child Care Centre at Pudukottai that Sakthivel, a farmer, is planning to conduct the wedding of his minor daughter with the boy today, to prevent the child marriage.
However, they could not find the girl and her parents there. The officials could not trace them in Orthanadu also, police said.
