Minor girl kidnapped, raped in Jaipur

A minor girl was allegedly abducted and raped by a youth at a hotel here two days back, police said today.
The 16-year-old girl, a Class 12 pass-out, was allegedly lured and abducted by one 22-year-old Ajay Choudhary, and taken to a hotel in Harmara where she was raped on the intervening night of August 10 and 11, police said.
Yesterday, the girl was set free by the accused near her house, they said, adding that a medical test was performed at a government hospital here.
Ajay was arrested and has been booked under various sections of IPC and POCSO Act, police said.

As per preliminary probe, the victim and accused were known to each other for the last six months and hailed from the same village. The girl was resident of Mukundpura Road Colony where the accused to visit her, police said, adding that the probe is on.
