The LPG cylinder exploded as soon as the oven was lit up to prepare meal wounding five persons, including four of a family, police officials said.
While the boy, Ishu Kumar, died during treatment, three other family members including his father Raju Sah,grandfather Gopal Sah (55), brother Guddu Kumar (16), besides a neighbour Kapil Muni (50) sustained injuries, they said.
The injured persons were admitted to Sadar hospital where the attending doctors referred three of them to the Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) in view of their serious condition, police added.
