Singh, who has over 14 years of diversified experience, succeeds Kenneth Jackson, who superannuates on December 31.
Jackson will continue to be a non-executive Board member providing technical guidance and facilitating technology transfer between Europe and India, a company release said.
Announcing the new appointment, Jackson said Singh has already successfully contributed to early stage of Nuvia's entry into the Indian nuclear industry.
Nuvia is the nuclear arm of the VINCI group, and a subsidiary of its engineering company Soletanche Freyssinet, the world's largest integrated concessions and construction group.
