Five kawariyas were injured when some miscreants hurled stones at them in Rajasthan's Tonk district, police said today.
The incident occurred when the pilgrims were on their way to Malpura from Bisalpur, Additional Superintendent of Police Goverdhan Sekaria said.
He said the situation in the town was tensed but under control.
Additional policemen have been deployed in the area to maintain law and order, he added.
