The two armed miscreants barged into the house of the woman in Bishnupur area last night and first looted valuables and money and then allegedly raped her, the police said.
The local people rushed to the woman's house hearing cries of help. They caught hold of one of the miscreants while the other managed to flee, the sources said.
The local people today demonstrated in the area demanding that the police arrest the other miscreant who is on the run.
