Aligarh-based trader Rajveer Singh (45) went missing on Friday last after which his family members lodged a complaint of abduction and loot, police said.
Rajveer's body was recovered near a pond last night with face mutilated by acid to conceal his identity.
A case of murder has been lodged and the matter is being investigated, they said.
