Four students, all belonging to Kottucherrymedu area and studying 10th standard went for bath in the sea last evening. Rahul and Sivaraj went missing.
Local fishermen immediately launched a search operation and rescued Rahul. He was first admitted to the Vinayaka Missions Medical College Hospital, Karaikal and was later referred to Puducherry government hospital, police said.
Sivaraj's body was washed ashore near Kottucherry, police said.
