Police said it is not clear what was the cause of her death and her body had been sent for post-mortem to the Thrissur medical college hospital.
Janaki, hailing from Changramkulam in Malappuram district, had left home for attending a local temple festival. As she failed to return, her family had filed a complaint, police said.
Police said some children saw a pack of stray dogs attacking the woman's body today and informed others.
