Police received a written complaint yesterday from Sanjeev Kumar of Sadoh, stating that his daughter was missing from home since evening, police officer said.
Acting on the report, police immediately swung into action and a team headed by a Sub Inspector mobilised all resources and traced the missing girl within 24 hours, he said.
A case has been registered against the kidnapper identified as Anoop Kumar, he said, adding that further investigation is going on.
