Missing woman's body found, child untraced

: The body of a woman, who had been reported missing along with her 18 month-old son since September 3 from nearby Vittal, was found on the banks of Kadeshivalaya river in Bantwal, police said.
The deceased had been identified as Sharada (32) from Vitlamudnoor village in Vittal. Fire brigade personnel found her body last evening and the search for the child was on, the sources said.
The missing complaint was registered by family members on Sept 4, stating that she had left home saying that she was going to a bank to deposit some money.
Her husband is employed in Mumbai.
