Information regarding Mithilesh stadium getting the certificate from IAAF was provided by Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) S K Bhardwaj.
After getting the certificate, if warming up area outside the stadium and floodlights are added it could get opportunity to host Asian level championship, he said.
The laying of the new track at Mithilesh stadium had cost Rs 8 crore and it had recently hosted national police athletics meet.
