Mixed trend in foodgrain market

Prices of thoor dal and wheat moved up while that of gram dal and sugar moved down in the wholesale foodgrains market here today.
Thoor dal rose by Rs.300 per quintal to Rs.11,200 from its previous rate of Rs.10,900.
Likewise, Wheat increased by Rs.150 per quintal to Rs.2,850 from Rs.2,700.
In contrast, Gram dal and Sugar declined by Rs.200 and Rs.50 per quintal each to Rs.6,000 and Rs.2,400 from its previous rate of Rs.6,200 and Rs.2,450 respectively.
However, urad dal,moong dal, maida and sooji ruled steady in the market.
Following are the wholesale rates of various agri-commodities (in rupees per quintal, except where stated otherwise): Thoor Dal Rs 11,200, Urad Dal Rs 10,700, Moong Dal Rs 10,000, Gram Dal Rs 6,000, Sugar Rs 2,400, Wheat Rs 2,850, Maida (90 kg) Rs 2,400 and Sooji (90 kg) Rs 3,000.
