Michael Lobo, who represents Calangute constituency, said he would rebel if dance bars are allowed in Goa.
"We will rebel if anyone gives permission to dance bars," Lobo told reporters after meeting Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar.
BJP Goa spokesman Wilfred Mesquita had recently said there was nothing wrong about dance bars.
Lobo, who is also heading BJP's North Goa unit, said dance bars have been allowed by the Supreme Court with a rider that the state government should permit the same.
Lobo said the Goa police are not doing enough to control the state's drug menace.
"I had given the names of four drug lords but by the time their places were raided, they had already disappeared. The police should have acted swiftly," he said.
