Mobile phones, smoking pipes seized from Madhepura jail

Prohibited items including mobile phones were today seized from a jail in Bihar's Madhepura district.
Acting on a tip off, a police team raided the district jail premises and seized three mobile phones, two SIM cards and a charger besides a pipe for smoking ganja from cells of imates, Superintendent of Police (SP) Ashish Bharti said.
A report has been sent to the District Magistrate in this regard, he said.
