Model Namit Khanna to enter Bollywood

Model Namit Khanna, a known name in the modelling world, is set to make his Bollywood debut with 'Bang Bang Bangkok'.
"I have been modelling for seven to eight years, did numerous ads. For models the best bet is model internationally or movies. I think acting is the obvious step after modelling. I did audition for various films and have been to various production houses...," Namit told PTI.
"I am doing a film 'Bang Bang Bangkok'. It is a comedy film. It should release in next three-four months," he said.
'Bang Bang Bangkok' is directed by Vikram Pradhan. Besides Namit, the film will also star Sahil Anand, who was part of 'Student of the Year'.

"I auditioned for this film and the director was convinced that I could play the character, hence he chose me. There are three guys in the film, I am one of the leads," Namit said.
He also took an acting course conducted by noted theatre director Barry John and enrolled in various dance classes.
The film will also see renowned music director late O P Nayyar's granddaughter Niharica Raizada entering the tinsel town.
