Model-turned-bar dancer, 2 others held for running brothel

Three persons, including a Mumbai based model-turned-bar dancer, have been arrested for allegedly running a brothel here, police said today.
The 26-year-old bar dancer was arrested yesterday along with another woman and a man, said to be their tout, under Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act, ACP Ashok Chouhan said.
The man has been identified as Sanjeev Mathur.
The former model, who is the main accused, had recently taken a house on rent in Saraswati Nagar of Jawahar Circle area to run the alleged brothel. She used to pay Rs 17,000 per month for rent, Chouhan said.
The woman resides in Gore Gaon area of Mumbai and did modelling before. She recently started dancing in clubs there and used to shuttle between Jaipur and Mumbai for dance parties, the ACP said.

Police is investigating the case and exploring the main accused's links, he said.
