Moderate earthquake in J&K

A moderate earthquake struck Bhaderwah belt of Doda district in Jammu and Kashmir tonight, according to Met officials.
The quake measuring 4.7 magnitude on the Richter scale struck the Bhaderwah belt of Doda district at 9.29 pm, the officials said, adding it lasted for 6 seconds.
The epicentre of the earthquake was 9 km southeast of Bhaderwah in Sukhlandhar area, they said.
"There was no report of immediate casualty or death in the area," SSP Doda Sharief Chouhan said.
