Moderate to heavy rain lashed isolated places in UP

Moderate to very heavy rain occurred at isolated places in eastern and at a few places in western districts of Uttar Pradesh.
MeT office here said today that chief amount of rainfall recorded in cms at Saharanpur-14, Katerniaghat 13,Daurahara-9, Shahjahanpur-12, Bhinga 4 ; Biswan, Bareilly-3 each; Mahrauni, Moradabad, Kalpi, Auraiya- 2 each; Paliakalam, Sitapur, Churk, Basgaon, Robertganj, Hardoi, Etawah and Lalitpur-1 each.
The weathermen forecast that rain/thundershowers would occur at many places over the state in the next 24 hours with heavy to very heavy rain/thundershowers at isolated places over the state during next 48 hrs.
