Moderate to heavy rains in parts of Himachal Pradesh

Moderate to heavy rains occurred in parts of Himachal Pradesh where the monsoon remained normal, with the exception of the lower hills which witnessed a hot and humid day.
The local Met office has warned of heavy rains in the mid and lower hills on July 16 and 17 and predicted a wet spell in the region upto July 21.
Dharamshala which received 95 mm of rains was the wettest place in the state.
There was no significant change in the minimum and maximum temperatures.
Mashobra on the outskirts of the state capital Shimla recorded the coldest night temperature with a low of 13.8 degrees Celsius.
