Prime Minister Narendra Modi today wrapped up his five-day visit to Britain and Turkey after making a strong case for a united global fight against terrorism.
"Goodbye Turkey! After successful participation in @G20Turkey2015 PM @narendramodi heads home," External Affairs Ministry Spokesperson Vikas Swarup tweeted.
During his interventions at the G20 Summit here, Modi said terrorism is the principle global challenge and sought a unison global action to deal with the menace.
The two-day summit, which ended today, was overshadowed by terror attacks in Paris which left over 129 people dead and over 352 injured.
Modi also participated in the meeting of the leaders of BRICS nations in which he called for effective steps to end funding, supplies and communication channels of terrorists and also stressed on global cooperation to prevent use of cyber networks by militant groups.
In his earlier leg of the overseas visit in the UK, Modi met Queen Elizabeth II at Buckingham Palace and addressed the Indian diaspora at the Wembley stadium, along with his British counterpart David Cameron.
Modi also visited Tata Motors-owned Jaguar Land Rover factory in the West Midlands region of England and met top industry leaders.
