This was stated today by former Union Minister and BJP leader Vidyasagar Rao, who is the party candidate from Karimnagar Lok Sabha constituency, at a press meet here.
Though the press meet was jointly organised by BJP and its partner Telugu Desam Party, the alliance's leaders were not forthcoming on whether TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu would accompany Modi during his visit to Karimnagar.
Telangana, which will attain statehood on June 2, will have simultaneous Lok Sabha and assembly polls on April 30.
